Moving On
This area of Suffolk is organised on a 3 tier system:
Middle School – 9 to 13 year olds
High School – age 13 plus
When they are nine, children from Wenhaston transfer to Halesworth Middle School, and children who are from Blythburgh can transfer to Worlingham Middle School.
There is a close liaison between our schools, with the leavers visiting their new school before their official start, and working with the 'Year 5' tutor there.
Our aim is to make the move as smooth and stress-free as possible for the children.
